A constitution is a set of fundamental principles or established precedents that constitute the legal basis of a polity, organization, or other type of entity, and commonly determines how that entity is to be governed.



In other words, a constitution is a body of rules that sets out the basic structure of a government and the rights and duties of its citizens. It is usually written down in a single document, but it can also be unwritten, consisting of customs and traditions that have been followed for many years.

Constitution can be of two types written constitution and unwritten constitution. The constitution of all the countries of the world is not the same, the constitution of any country is written and the constitution of any country is unwritten.
